Manchester City have a streak of 20 games unbeaten at home as they welcome Bristol City to the fortress Joie Stadium.

Manchester City boss Gareth Taylor has heaped praise on Jess Park, Ruby Mace and Julie Blackstad following their impressive start to the season.

“It was nice to keep all the players on the pitch on Wednesday night. We made nine changes the other night for the Continental Cup and the performance levels were so good. “I think for us when you look at the business we did in the summer, we looked at players like Jess and Ruby Mace and Julie Blackstad, those players were on loan last season and they’re like having new players and I think we certainly felt that.

The hosts also have a 20-game unbeaten streak on home turf and the comfort of knowing Bristol are yet to get a win over City in the previous nine meets in the top tier. Both sides last went head-to-head inside the Joie Stadium in November of 2020 where City claimed an emphatic 8-1 victory in front of a home crowd.

Manchester City welcome Bristol City to the Joie Stadium on Sunday, October 15 kicking off at 1 PM, available to stream free via the FA Player app.
