A gas leak hit the same Massachusetts city that saw pipeline-related explosions a year ago
A gas leak in Lawrence, Mass., forced more than 100 people to evacuate their homes early Friday morning, one year after overpressurized pipelines in the Massachusetts city and two others triggered explosions and deadly fires.
The natural-gas leak, first reported to officials around 3 a.m. Friday, didn’t prompt any fires or explosions, officials said.
