A left-back and a central attacking midfielder remained on many fans’ shopping lists when the transfer window closed, but Farke likes the versatility of the options he has behind a main striker.

We had Joel Piroe in a slightly deeper position, not like a natural number 10, but also to add some goals out of [the] midfield position.
