. The couple had been attending a drag event in the town and Gloucestershire Police believes they were targeted because Mr McDonnell was dressed in drag. Officers said the pair were subject to verbal homophobic abuse on the top deck of the number 10 bus as it travelled from Cheltenham to Gloucester.Mr McDonnell was dressed in drag on the night of the incident
The teenagers, who made various comments towards the couple, were described as white males in their late teens and one was wearing a black sweatshirt.
