A study of 2,000 flyers has revealed the top 20 bugbears when it comes to air travel and airports - and Gemma Collins has found an inventive way to avoid one of them
Gemma Collins was spotted 'checking in' to her flight donning an ingeniously designed coat featuring 23 pockets. The reality TV icon was laden with all the travel necessities, from essential miniatures housed in a waterproof pocket to t-shirts, a beach towel, flip-flops, her mobile phone, and multiple charging gadgets.
Topping the list of irritations is the exorbitant price of refreshments at airports, along with the delays caused by over-packers at check-in and those who prematurely queue at boarding gates. The study revealed that travellers, who on average fly three times a year, will end up paying around £78 annually in hidden costs, inflated prices and unexpected fees. A quarter of air travellers have had to pay extra due to overweight luggage, leading to feelings of annoyance , frustration and absolute fury .
