General Hospital star David Lautman has just set the bar even higher for unique proposals, with a video of his proposal to Megan Li Wang going viral.
The 35-year-old actor and his new fiancee first met on a commercial for Lenovo laptops that they filmed a few years ago.After seeing the start of the commercial and realizing that she might not be getting paid for it, Wang recorded it... not knowing she'd film her own proposal video.
The actress captioned the video, 'I accidentally recorded my own proposal bc I thought an old commercial I did was re-running without paying me.' 'Megan Wang, will you marry me?' he said while laughing, as Megan said through laughter, 'Yeah sure,' as he put the ring on her finger.' The video was in response to a TikTok user who asked if he filmed the engagement part when they made the video because he looks 'the same.' Wang also took to TikTok to explain how Lautman made the video, first showing the original Lenovo ad they filmed two years ago
