Genesis has presented a modified electric SUV, the Mountain Intervention Vehicle (MIV), designed to excel in challenging rescue operations. Based on the GV60, the MIV features tank-style tracks for enhanced off-road capability, sport seats, medical supplies, and emergency communication systems. Its electric powertrain ensures silent operation, minimizing environmental impact and noise pollution.
Genesis has unveiled a new purpose-built electric vehicle concept, designed to be able to assist in challenging rescue operations while prioritising safety and functionality. Based on the Korean brand’s GV60 electric SUV, the Mountain Intervention Vehicle concept was designed to be capable of “rescue support tasks in rugged terrains and challenging weather conditions”, with a range of modifications and enhancements to make sure it’s up to the task.
