Married dad-of-one Jaroslaw Ringart died after becoming separated from a group of walkers 💔
A keen walker was found dead amid extreme weather conditions as he battled 70mph winds and heavy rain while hiking in Glencoe in Scotland.
Jaroslaw's wife Beata and their daughter Naska both attended an inquest which was held on Tuesday at Cockermouth Coroner's Court. Assistant Coroner Margaret Taylor heard how Polish-born Jaroslaw, who lived with his wife and daughter at their home in Cambridge Road, "loved walking" and worked as a head engineer at Shortridge Ltd in Workington.
Returning a conclusion of accidental death the coroner said: "He had been walking with a group of friends, he became separated from his walking party In extreme weather conditions and he was found deceased by the Glencoe Mountain Rescue Team on the north east summit of Stob Coire and he died as a consequence of exposure and hypothermia."
"They had no phone signal on the hill so the group member had to descend to the roadside and drive to Glencoe village to raise the alarm.
