George Russell has endured mixed fortunes in the first half of the season. He has now revealed his focus areas when F1 returns after the summer break.Now in his second season with the Silver Arrows, Russell delivered on Mercedes’s decision to sign him for 2022. A strong campaign was capped off with a sensational debut win at the Brazilian Grand Prix.
“Season of two halves. First six races I was super happy with my own personal performance, I was really strong. His best season result to date came at the Spanish Grand Prix, finishing P3. He has struggled to retain this pace since then, with a DNF at the next round, and not finishing higher than P6. “That leaves me with a bit of confidence that we can turn it around in the second half of the year. But, like I said, eyes on Red Bull, we want to win a race this year, and we are still pushing like hell to achieve that.”
