A Brisbane bowls club is teaching teenagers the tricks of the bowling green in the hope it will keep the game alive for years to come.
"It's also been extremely enjoyable coaching them and the members are getting great feedback on their coaching and help.""It's showing them that it can be a young person's sport, but unfortunately it's usually only played by older people."Ms Bell said the success of the project had given not only the club hope for the future, but for the students also.
"They had been prepared to participate more and listen more and take instructions, so he was happy about that."
