Soon after, the Spring 2020 runways seemed to embrace the idea, too: Loewe, Christian Dior, Tom Ford, they all served up their takes on the idea of underwear as outerwear.
For now, it seems designer shoes or bags are out, and showy bras are the new must-have. And model Gigi Hadid is the latest celebrity to get on board. Yesterday, she was spotted in New York City putting her spin on it: she wore a sheer turtleneck that showed off her matching-hued bra underneath. It was a less-risky, more-covered iteration of the trend, not to mention a more practical way to wear it in the cooler months.
