Giovanni Pernice has been supported by his former Strictly Come Dancing partner Michelle Visage amid his ongoing 'feud' with Amanda Abbington
BBC Strictly professional dancer Giovanni Pernice has received support from his old Strictly partner during the ongoing controversy with Amanda Abbington.
Then, it emerged that the mother of two got a "big name lawyer" to retrieve her practice videos from the BBC. Explaining that Michelle helped him out, after his usual dance partner, Lauren Oakley, couldn't be in his show Let Me Entertain You, he said: "Unfortunately Lauren is not doing the show. So I did have a replacement for that."
A recent clip has sparked discussions after reports surfaced that the BBC might not pair up Giovanni with a celebrity when the new series starts in September. A source told The Sun: "Bosses are undecided about whether or not they will give Gio a partner, just to take the heat off him. He's still very much loved by all the head honchos."
