BREAKING: Girl, 11, drowns during ‘friend’s birthday party’ at water park.
An 11-year-old girl has drowned after disappearing under the water at an activity park in Windsor.
One eyewitness said the child was with a group of friends for a girl’s birthday at Liquid Leisure, adding that her daughter spoke to the group.she saw the child going under the water and ‘didn’t come back up’, at which point lifeguards rushed over.Visitors were also asked to call the child’s name by the beach in case she’d left the water, but they got no response.
A fire crew, a police helicopter, an air ambulance, and a search and rescue boat then arrived at the activity park in a bid to find the missing child.Emergency services spent the whole day searching Liquid Leisure Windsor
