A 14-year-old girl missing from Melbourne for a week has turned up in Queensland, where she and two other children have been accused of a violent crime spree. The girl and two boys, aged 14 and 15, were arrested in the Gold Coast McDonald’s carpark on Saturday morning. The trio arrived in two cars at the Nerang outlet about 3.30am and spent the next three hours loitering or sleeping, when a manager at the fast food restaurant called police on them.
footage obtained by 7NEWS shows the two stolen cars being driven off after the alleged Merrimac theft. The trio were also allegedly found in possession of 10 sets of car keys, prompting suspicions they may be responsible for other alleged crimes between Victoria and Queensland. They are believed to have left Victoria in a stolen car, according to police.
