A juvenile female was fatally shot in the Lanham area near DuVal High School on Monday, according to Prince George’s County police.
The girl was transported to a hospital with critical injuries. She was later pronounced dead. Two schools — Robert Goddard Montessori School and DuVal High School — were placed on lockdown while police started an investigation.
