A bus was set on fire and police vehicles were damaged during the first night of riots in Harehills
Following Thursday's upheaval, where police vehicles were damaged and a bus set ablaze, the disorder continued across the Harehills estate. West Yorkshire Police said it became apparent that their officers were the "sole target" of the disturbances.
The chants and placards are believed to be linked to several children removed from the community by social services, an incident thought to have ignited Thursday's riots. "Officers from the Major Enquiry Team continue at significant pace to investigate the circumstances surrounding the disorder and we have teams deployed to arrest those who have been identified. We are using all the investigative tools available to us in order to identify those involved.
