The notoriously private Gladys Berejiklian has said she has given up on finding love after revealing her relationship with Daryl Maguire.
The NSW Premier stunned Australia when she revealed a personal relationship with former MP Daryl Maguire from 2015 until August 2020 while giving evidence at a corruption inquiry.
“I am an extremely private person and without question, I stuffed up in my personal life,” Ms Berejiklian told reporters after her appearance at the ICAC on Monday.“If I had done something wrong, I would be the first one to consider my position. But I haven’t,” she said.she gave even more insight about her personal affairs, declaring she was giving up on ever finding love.“I’m just going to say I have always put my job first, rightly or wrongly, and that will now continue indefinitely.
“Any sort of impropriety should be properly investigated by ICAC and if it is referred to the police, by the police or the courts,” she said.
