A Glasgow carer threatened a service user saying “any more of your sh** I’ll take you down to play tig with the buses”.
Clark Findlay also put a remote control in a vulnerable woman’s mouth and told her to “shut up” as well as “you’re p****** me off the day”.
He was slammed by the care watchdog who questioned the support worker's “integrity and values” following the vile behaviour. “Pushing AA’s hand away, telling them to get off you and telling them that they were pissing you off [information redacted] is abusive behaviour.“Telling BB that you would ‘take them down to play tig with the buses’, or words to that effect, constitutes verbally abusive, threatening and intimidating behaviour towards a vulnerable service user.
“Your behaviour is a misuse of the power and position placed in social service workers, while also placing service users at risk of harm.“You have shown on multiple occasions a complete lack of respect towards service users in your care.
