The 31-year-old will be staying at Petershill Park until 2025
Lee Gibson has signed a contract extension at Glasgow City, as the Scotland international seeks to add more silverware to her glittering collection.
In her time with the Petershill Park side, Gibson has so far claimed 10 SWPL titles, six Scottish Cups and four Scottish Women’s Premier League Cups. She has made 217 appearances for the club since her debut in 2011 against Inverness City.“I am really happy to be extending my contract here at City," Gibson told the club media.
“We have been so fortunate to have a goalkeeper of Lee’s calibre at City for so many years. She is someone who demands the highest of standards from herself and her teammates every single day and that is why she can continually deliver top level performances. "Having been her teammate, and now her coach, I know more than most what Lee can contribute to this team, and it is for that reason I am delighted to have the opportunity to continue working together.”
