The Met Office has warned of possible flooding and travel issues on Tuesday. Forecasters have told the public to expect heavy rain from Monday night with the warning in place for much of the central belt from 1am till 6pm on April 9.

Glasgow has been hit with another yellow weather warning as rain is set to cause disruption next week.

The weather front follows Storm Kathleen which sparked a yellow warning for strong winds and snow over the weekend. Affected passengers were provided with hotel accommodation and the flight continued onto Glasgow today.

Now the Met Office are warning Glaswegians to prepare for another bout of stormy weather with possible transport disruption, damage to homes and businesses due to flooding, and power cuts.
