Traffic cops pulled over the white hatchback in the Carmyle area of the city on Monday morning.
A disqualified driver has been given a 'room with no view' after being arrested and his car seized after failing a roadside drug test in Glasgow.
Officers say they had been hunting for the driver who is believed to have been driving illegally in the city 'on a daily basis'. They will appear in court at a later date.
Road Policing Scotland said on Twitter: "Glasgow Road Police had been looking for this disqualified driver who we suspected had been driving in the city on a daily basis. Spotted this morning, safely stopped, arrested, and charged. A room with no view for 24 hours."
