The North Rotunda was rented out by Cranside Kitchen from Forrest Group, with the business departing the building this week and leaving many couples who had booked the venue for their upcoming weddings in limbo.
The owners of the North Rotunda have confirmed the business renting the space, Cranside Kitchen, has departed leaving many couples in limbo ahead of their nuptials at the popular wedding venue.
However, Cranside Kitchen is reported to have left the historic venue in the Finnieston area of the city this week, according to Forrest Group.READ MORE: Glasgow artist pays tribute to 'mentor' brother and dying dad ahead of solo exhibition Forrest Group said they have "no control" over the bookings made with Cranside's customers but said they are "concerned" by the impact the closure is having on people's weddings.
A spokesperson from Forrest Group said: "While Forrest Group acquired the Rotunda in June, we were happy for Cranside to remain as tenants and continue operating for a further 12 months. We do have plans for the property long-term, however as yet no formal proposals have even been submitted for any changes to the Rotunda.
