A vegan bakery and popular takeaway located in Glasgow have been hailed by a popular Spotify podcast.
Titled Purple Burglar Alarm, the episode talks about the recent and resurfacing viral trend where Scots try and say the episode title, but fail due to their accents. However, it was the mention of all things Glasgow food that had listeners tuning in.Telling listeners the options from Plant Blonde hosts Jess Tedds and Zoe Quinn say: "So we have a vegan Viennese whirls which looks unbelievable and we have empire biscuits. This is what they're known for, their empire biscuits.
Calling them "beasts" the hosts drool over how "amazing" they look with one of the testers given them an 8.5 out of 10 declaring the score as a "strong answer". Biting into the biscuits the hosts declares the vegan treats as "so good" as they tucked into the melt in your mouth flavours.Jess, who runs popular Instagram account Just Jess Food said: "The queue within two seconds was out the door and down the street."
