During the most recent environment committee councillor Jon Molyneux welcomed the move but reminded members that it was important to remember the benefits it will bring to each community. “It is also about getting residents to rethink their immediate public space and rethink the dominance of potential use for vehicles over other uses.”
Councillor Angus Millar, City Convener for Transport and Climate Change, welcomed the increase in availability in Street Play over the course of the forthcoming year.
