A new owner-operator is wanted for a much-loved tearoom in Glasgow.

A popular tearoom in Glasgow has gone on the market.

The Hidden Lane Tearoom has been an"institution" in Finnieston since it first opened over a decade ago.The sale is being managed by Smith & Clough who say the business has a huge potential to tap into the evening trade if they can get an alcohol license.

"The business only trades daytime hours and operates without an alcohol licence, so subject to obtaining a licence it is felt a new owner could capitalise on evening opening hours and introduce a wine/cocktail menu, with bottles of fizz to compliment their famous high teas.” “We have handled the sale of many businesses in Finnieston recently including coffee shops, restaurants, takeaways and pubs, and we are seeing strong demand from buyers looking to get into the Finnieston area, so we are expecting high levels of interest in this sale.”
