A nightclub in Lancaster is set to reopen as a rebranded venue months after a dad in his early twenties died following an incident outside the premises.

The 22-year-old had been left fighting for his life after being punched outside the venue. The incident proved to be fatal as Joshua was rushed to Royal Preston Hospital where he had two emergency surgeries.After fighting for his life in a coma, Joshua died days later in hospital on Thursday, June 16. Those behind the club at the time remained silent on the incident when approached by LancsLive.

But new signs on the boarded up building have now indicated new management has taken over the venue with a 'coming soon' logo also present. A spray painted sign revealed the club's rebranding with neon logos for 'Vibe' seen on the front and back entrance of the club. Posting on Monday , the new owners of the nightclub have announced an open night on Saturday, October 22. Captioning the post they wrote: "V I B E. Grand Opening Saturday 22nd of October!
