General Motors Co. GM is recalling 40,428 Chevrolet medium-duty trucks, as the break-pressure sensor assembly could leak brake fluid and cause an electrical short circuit that raises the risk of a fire while driving or parked. In a letter from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration dated Friday, it’s acknowledged that GM is recalling Chevrolet 4500HD, 5500 HD and 6500HD model trucks from 2019 to 2023.
