GMB fans break down in tears as ITV’s Ruth Dodsworth reveals hell with abusive ex – as his release from jail approaches
Now, Ruth is now preparing for him to be released after he served half of his sentence - and he opened up about her fears on GMB today.
She said: "I was his wife, I was his possession and in a sense that gave him the right to do pretty much what he wanted and treat me the way he wanted." Speaking about Jonathan's impending release from prison she explained: "The judge told him at the time he would serve a minimum half. "But then prior to that halfway point because it's what they call a standard tariff he can apply for what they all home release.
