ITV Good Morning Britain viewers told host Richard Madeley to 'calm down' as he slammed his hands down during Wednesday's show, September 20. The presenter was interviewing Guyana's president, Dr Mohamed Irfaan Ali, when he hit the table.

During the interview, Richard stated: "Why should somebody who maybe had an ancestor seven or eight generations ago, long before they were a twinkle in their great-great-great grandparents' eye, why should they have to pay now for what an ancient ancestor did?
