Giles Wood and Mary Killen are some of Gogglebox's most long-serving stars, having kept audiences of the Channel 4 show entertained from their kitsch Wiltshire home
Gogglebox's Giles Wood has revealed that he and his wife, Mary Killen, have been able to pay off their mortgage after starring on the hit show for eight years.
He added the pair “kept quiet, very quiet" about their earnings, saying: “I leave all the paperwork to Mary, because she’s more interested in the details of life.” Whilst they might have managed to pay off their mortgage, their cottage still has some work to be done, as they previously revealed that certain areas of their home are "worse than Benefits Street" due to mould issues.
A bookshelf is situated in the background, while a sizeable painting hangs on the wall above Mary's armchair. A petite side table, painted with a cat's face, rests between the couple's chairs, supporting a white phone.
