Gold Coast Airport experienced operational disruptions and delays after a security incident required passengers already onboard a flight to be rescreened. While operations have since returned to normal, some flight delays are expected.
Travel lers at Gold Coast Airport battled a knock-on effect of lines and delays after the security incident triggered "operational disruptions".
"Security protocols were activated at Gold Coast Airport this morning in regards to an isolated incident which involved the requirement to rescreen passengers onboard one flight," a spokesperson said.
