Three-time Olympic gold medallist Emily Seebohm says she is “happy to finally we have a decision” on transgender athletes as it allows swimmers to see where the sport will be going in the future. “I’m really supportive of the open category that they are suggesting that they are going to bring into competition,” she told Sky News Australia.

“It gives a chance for everyone to be involved in our sport, I love my sport I want to share it with everyone so let’s get everyone involved and let’s just keep it fair.”
