Not long to wait now
Roll up, roll up! It is almost time for Nottingham to welcome back the Goose Fair after a long three years away. Forest Recreation Ground is set to be filled with mushy peas and mint sauce, rollercoasters, cocks on sticks and fun houses.
The annual extravaganza has been extended from five to ten days to make up for its absence. It will take place from Friday, September 30 to Sunday, October 9. Before Covid the fair attracted around 420,000 visitors from across Nottinghamshire and beyond.Visitors can expect the latest white knuckle experiences, family rides and the old favourites including waltzers, carousels and hook-a-duck. Thrill-seekers can take on the likes of AtmosFear, Bomber Mach 2, the Giant Wheel and Mouse coasters.
