The Strictly Come Dancing star has been open and honest about having to leave behind his young family as he gets to work on the new series
Fans of Gorka Marquez have flooded him with their 'hope' after he shared a heartbreaking moment with fiancee Gemma Atkinson and their two children. of the dance show.
When asked about her dancing skills by Claudia, Nikita said: "I am a party animal but when it comes to choreography that’s what I’m here to learn… I need to learn some new skills, I’m just like one arm up in the air". Gorka went on to reveal during the pre-recorded launch show that their first dance will be the Waltz and that their team name is 'Gorkita'.
Taking to Instagram, the dad-of-two shared a string of images featuring Mia and Thiago, also known by Tio for short, as well as Gemma who was seen doting on her two adorable children before taking a phone call when Gorka snapped a picture of her from behind. @a_wee_cuppa_tia shared: "What a woman @glouiseatkinson you got this mama!" @liz.green24 added: "So hard for the long separation from your family- plenty of downtime over Xmas and new year. You have amazing babies and a gem in Gemma and we hope you do well in the competition."
