The Weekend AwayLeighton Meester plays Beth, who wakes up to a nightmare when her best friend Kate is found drowned in the sea after a night out in Croatia.
As the story unfolds, Beth comes under suspicion of being involved in Kate’s death, causing her to question what really happened on the night she died. They argued during their night out, sure – it looks like Kate was something of a wild child and Beth was more keen to take things easy, having settled down with a partner and children – but did something more sinister happen between them?
Did Beth kill Kate? Can she remember what really happened? Is she being framed? We can’t wait to find out.
