Alaska Gov. Mike Dunleavy named Jerry Moses to direct the state’s Washington, D.C. office, which has been vacant for months.

Moses is a member of the Native Village of Stevens, according to Native corporation Doyon Ltd., whichMoses in April with a community service award.
