The resident claims people are 'sharing their homes with rats'
A Govanhill resident has been left outraged by the fly-tipping in the area and claims people are 'sharing their homes with rats'.
"The council have done nothing about it - a van came out once, but they put yellow tape round it and buggered off and that's it. It's disgusting. There's rats everywhere. Many residents have reached out to their local representatives in the council and government, however, the issue still hasn't been solved.
"They are a blight on our communities like Govanhill and make people's lives a misery. Fly-tipping is far too common across Glasgow, yet we have a SNP Council sitting on their hands and failing to tackle it. However, they are currently discussing ways in which they can support the local community to ensure the lane remains clean.
