Prime Minister Scott Morrison will announce a $58 million package to create new specialist endometriosis treatment centres in each state and territory.
The Coalition is set to announce $58 million in funding for endometriosis on Friday, in a pledge it says will improve the diagnosis and primary care support for the 800,000 Australian women who suffer from the disease.
Mr Morrison said the funding would bring “welcome relief” to the 800,000 Australian women who suffered from endometriosis. Health Minister Greg Hunt said the funding would ensure families know and understand the risks of inheritable genetic disorders.
