Shadow Health Minister Anne Ruston says it’s “misleading” how general practitioners can undertake cosmetic surgery “without actually having undertaken any surgical training”.
The Opposition is calling for a review into the cosmetic surgery industry after several patients who had horrific experiences going under the knife shared their stories.“Australia’s got every right to demand that this is dealt with as a priority, so the loophole gets closed, so this doesn’t keep happening.”
