In a new State of Play, PlayStation officially revealed that Gran Turismo 7 will have 300 purchasable cars at its shopping mall dealership.

In a new State of Play, PlayStation has officially revealed Gran Turismo 7's world map, which includes a brand-new in-game shopping mall that allows players to purchase more than 300 different post-2001 cars. The Gran Turismo series has released quality experiences for each console generation and is generally considered to be a major selling point for PlayStation consoles due to its renowned reputation as one of the best racing video game franchises.

Releasing during the series' 25th anniversary, Gran Turismo 7 aims to have a strong emphasis on realism and immersion. The racing simulator includes limited ray tracing technology to produce incredibly realistic lighting effects and reflections and features a dynamic weather system affected by air, temperature, humidity, and road surface that will change how players will race.

While the Brand Central is confirmed to have around 300 vehicles for players to purchase, 100 more vehicles are expected to make an appearance. In a recent trailer, Kazunori Yamauchi, the game director and CEO of Polyphony Digital revealed that Gran Turismo 7 would include over 400 cars for players to collect. With the addition of 300 purchasable cars, players will be able to unlock 100 more through progression when the game launches.

Gran Turismo 7 appears to have taken the vehicle roster award, as the title has been confirmed to have almost 3 times more vehicles than the previous installment on the launch date.
