Here is how to watch it on TV
It’s Grand National day as all eyes turn to Aintree for the world’s most famous jumps race. The iconic Grand National takes place at 5:15pm on Saturday with an audience of millions set to tune in on TV.
40 horses are set to go to post with prize money of £1million on offer and a chance to become immortalised in British sporting history. Noble Yeats, last year’s winner, is bidding to become just the 10th horse in the history of the Grand National to win the race twice. To do so, the eight-year-old will have to see off the expected favourite Aint That A Shame, while the likes of Corach Rambler, Delta Work, Gaillard Du Mesnil and Any Second Now also provide stiff competition.
Viewers can tune into the horse racing on ITV1, with the Grand National itself starting at 5:15pm. Earlier in the day, the Opening Show presented by Oli Bell starts at 9am on ITV4.
