Granit Xhaka appeared to be the only Arsenal player to embrace former team-mate Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in a frosty reunion on Sunday.
He appeared to shake hands with all of the Arsenal players prior to kick-off but the only player to embrace him and give him a hug was Xhaka.
Xhaka has been involved in his own string of controversies at the Emirates but has since put those incidents behind him and has become a fan favourite at the club. But the same cannot be said for Aubameyang after he left for Barcelona and ended up at Chelsea six months later. Granit Xhaka was the only Arsenal player to give former captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang a warm embrace in the pre-match handshake. [
