After an impressive finals run last year in Lyon’s first season back as coach, St Kilda has dropped away badly in 2024 to sit 14th on the ladder with just three wins including dropping five of its last six games.

“That’s where it’s breaking down and they’ve just got to continue to work on that facet in the game.”Montagna noted they’ve missed the suspended Jack Higgins – their No. 1 score involvement player last year and this year – while Saint-turned-Bomber Jade Gresham was third last year and the Dan Butler, who’s been sidelined with a hamstring strain, was seventh.
