Downpours are forecast for tonight
Heavy rain is set to hit Greater Manchester later today - with more downpours forecast for the weekend.
According to the Met Office, heavy showers will hit our region from around 7pm tonight . Forecasters predict the downpours to last until at least midnight. Tomorrow is set to be mostly cloudy with some sunny intervals forecast for the afternoon. More heavy showers are then forecast in Greater Manchester on Saturday. Forecasters predict cloudy conditions in the morning, before rain sets in at around 4pm. It will feel slightly colder with the mercury only reaching 16C.
