Premier Daniel Andrews is expected to make an announcement on stay-at-home health orders during Wednesday morning's daily COVID-19 press conference.The state recorded 20 locally acquired cases that were all linked but only five of those were in isolation for their full infectious period.
Victorian Health Minister Martin Foley told reporters on Tuesday it was still too early to make the decision."What we will do is follow the public health advice as it comes in on a day-to-day proposition and obviously we want to have the most up to date information before the public health team make their decision."
Caroline Springs - a suburb in the city's west - is being closely monitored by Victorian Health authorities. "I need those numbers to increase. We need to have more people in the Caroline Springs area coming forward for testing," he said.
