The Foreign Office warned of potential disruption
A travel warning has been issued for any holidaymakers visiting Greece today. The UK Foreign Office regularly provides updates for people going from the UK to any of a total of 226 countries and territories to ensure travellers remain as safe as possible, Liverpool Echo reports.
A general strike has been called in Greece for Thursday, September 21. The advice reads: "Ferries may be affected and many airports may closed. Check with your transport provider if you are planning to travel by sea or air on 21 September. Buses and Metro services may also be affected.
