Adam Bandt insists his party is focused on harm reduction after it struck a deal to allow any adult to buy vapes from pharmacists.

"The second motivation for us is that we said there is a real public health problem, and especially amongst children — the kind of flavoured vapes that children have been using, they're meant to deliberately marketed to children — for us was something that we really wanted to tackle.
