Sky News contributor Joe Hildebrand has reacted to the Greens push to get SUVs and utes out of cities, saying they are looking for ways to make people “hate them even more.”
It comes as a Greens MPs in NSW and in Melbourne are set to hold a vote next week on a proposal to charge higher fees for drivers of such vehicles. “It’s like the Greens have these sort of Party meetings before every announcement,” Mr Hildebrand told Sky News.“Their numbers just went down from ten per cent to six per cent in Dunkley – which is probably the Ute capital of Australia.”
