Grog prices stable for now, but could go up later this year, says owner of Dan Murphy's, BWS bottle shops

The chief executive of Dan Murphy’s owner Endeavour Groups says the company is yet to see any material price hikes come through on its products, but this could change in the latter half of 2022.

The company is bracing for potential price hikes in the next six months, with its pubs having already started to charge $1 to $2 more for its steaks due to higher red meat prices. Endeavour also told investors it will have to book $9 million in additional costs through the third quarter of the financial year due to the impact of devastating floods in NSW and Queensland, which it said had caused “extensive damage” to its stores in the affected areas.
