Mass shooting suspect Robert Card was found dead Friday, and the focus now shifts to remembering the 18 people killed.Work has officially started on Uvalde CISD's new elementary school.

There are no words spoken as the work officially begins but none are needed to explain this day's significance. Now, Miller along with Lalo Diaz have worked tirelessly on this project within the Uvalde CISD Moving Forward Foundation.The $60,000,000 project is 75 percent funded. The school will have a tribute to those they lost and will focus on mental health as well as safety."It’s a time where we can kind of open a new chapter. The safety and security measures are we are very pleased with that,” Patterson said.
